YWAM`s mission is to « know God and make God known. » This mission is also the first of the 2 of the 18 values to which YWAM adheres. These values influence not only how YWAM serves, but also the culture and atmosphere of your DTS. Once you have completed a DTS, you will be able to know and understand the YWAM values in more depth. You can meet your DTS classmates who brought their own cars. Full-time missionaries often load a passenger car and drive to the nearest destination. If the latter option seems intimidating, don`t worry. Most full-time missionaries have financial partners to help them with their missionary work. DTS employees/management should not be expected to take on non-DTS roles that take up a significant amount of time on the basis several weeks before or during the DTS.
